I just worked out hooker from min on the guitar and it really loses something on the guitar. Might work well with multiple guitarists but solo acoustic is not doing it justice.
I don't want to learn to count
I don't want to be a good boy scout... Yea that sounds good heather.
I dig it,
Orin.
I still want to hear you sing the old jazz standard "angel eyes", but I am way more Interested in your new cd.
How about a Jeff buckley song, his cover of Leonard cohen hallelujah would be great to hear. If you are looking for something from way out of left field how about Rainbow Connection from the muppets. Looking for sad melancholy how about operator by Jim Croce.
Heather how about taking a shot at Tom Waits. I could die with a smile on my face if you did one. It would be so hard to pick out one from his huge collection of amazing work, but something like a "Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis" or "On the Nickel" might be a good fit. You could really let the soul and emotion in your voice go wild covering Waits. Just an Idea
