John and I are empty nesters now.  The bunnies have left the nest.  We saw a couple of them out in the yard last night.  We don't think they are strong enough yet to out run Lucky, so he is not allowed in the backyard right now.  He ain't likin that.  Here's a couple pics from just before they left.

Thanks ya'll.  No eviction yet - he's fighting it, guess we'll have to take him to court.  LOL  Seriously, no time to deal with it this morning before work.........I tried to net him out real quick before work but couldn't even find him.  We'll have to deal with it tonight if we can.  John has some school function to leave for at 6 so there won't be much time.  Hells bells, if the fish are all gone by then, we might as well leave him.  I understand they only hang around for the summer.  With no fish, we can take the ugly cover off the pond.  Like my fishes tho - but between the blue heron, other wildlife predators and now apparently Mr. Snapper, it's hard to keep 'em around!  I have read tho that they can live happily together, he eats when you feed the fish (that's how we saw him in there last night), so no need to eat the fish.  Like my daughter said, well, if you put a buffet in your yard, you are gonna have customers.  LOL  So I dunno.

Troubles in the Cunningham garden!  Not sure if you saw the pic on FB the other day of the snapping turtle we found in our yard.  We discovered tonight that he has taken up residence in our fish pond.  Dammit I just put 7 new fish in there over the weekend, putting us up to almost 20.  We have to evict this guy - he will depleat our fish stock.  I'm sure he's already gotten some of them.  From what I'm reading, we need to catch him and relocate him at least 10 miles away or he'll return.  Sheesh.  Anybody skilled in turtle eviction?  LOL
